Overview
The Receptionist represents the Utah Valley Convention Center as initial contact for prospective clients and the general public both on the phone and in person. The receptionist will also assist guests with event information and or route necessary calls to appropriate personnel.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.00.

Responsibilities
JOB DUTIES: (including to but not limited to)
• Answer Incoming calls to the Utah Valley Convention Center
• Assist with guest or client questions as needed
• Open/Distribute mail
• Log incoming checks
• Run and log credit card payments for events.
• File pay checks/distribute on payday.
• Input lost and found items into log.
• Order and distribute office supplies.
• Perform filing or other office related work.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Finance.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to work afternoons (25 hours per week)
• Ability to work independently and remain flexible in role.
• Ability to multi-task
• Exceptional customer service skills-outgoing and friendly personality required
• General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Duties of this position are performed mostly indoors in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal during non-event days and moderate to loud event days.
