Recovery Compliance Coordinator

Overview

The Risk Management Department at Enterprise Fleet Management (EFM) has an immediate opening for a Recovery Compliance Coordinator. Our ideal candidates will be a professional, organized, self-motivated team players that enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have had success in handling the collection of receivables, bad debt, claims, conflict resolution and/or customer service. The Recovery Compliance Coordinator will work to investigate and analyze all reported claims while developing collection strategies in order to reach a collection potential that best serves our customers and our business.

The starting pay range for this position is just over $40,200 to $41,700. This position typically works 40 hours per week, offers several flex schedule options, and the opportunity to earn more after passing department certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Process an appropriate number of claim files per day and complete the exam process within the appropriate time-frame of file assignment
  • Investigate, evaluate, and analyze all reported claims to determine collection potential and develop collection strategies
  • Gather and evaluate police reports, verbal/written statements, and other related documents to utilize in making liability determinations and collection potential
  • Evaluate and identify potential injuries or liability with notification to the appropriate claims organizations
  • Send timely contact letters to responsible parties
  • Negotiate claim settlements with various insurance carriers and third party companies
  • Offer guidance and obtain approval for alternative dispute resolution
  • Maintain accurate account of collections activity and incoming payments on files
  • Actively defend EFM in lawsuits regarding unresolved claims; partner with clients’ insurance companies to monitor the status through resolution

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Two years of experience in Insurance, Claims, Underwriting or Subrogation
  • Two years of Customer Service experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Must have or be willing to obtain an Adjustor’s License
  • One year of proven success in negotiation or conflict resolution, preferred
