Clarification from the agency
U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Duties
- Works under general supervision of the Front Office Manager, as a Recreation Aid (Vacation Village) accepting reservations for travel camp used by patrons, checks in/out patrons, assigns camp sites and is responsible for briefing of patrons.
- Checks travel camp area and facilities to insure that general repair, cleanliness and adherence to sanitation requirements are maintained. Unloads shipments and operates government vehicles.
- Assists patrons with information about all programs offered by the Edelweiss Resort, as well as the local area as the job requires providing information to guests.
- Cleans bathhouse and grounds area when scheduled.
Requirements
Conditions of Employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Successful completion of Personnel Security Investigation Portal-PSIP within 7 days of receiving Applicant Action Required email.
Qualifications
1. Must be able to speak, read and write the English language sufficiently to communicate orally or in writing.
2. Must be able to lift 20lb.
3. Must be able to obtain and maintain a drivers license.
4. Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire.
