Recreation Coordinator I Athletic / Camps Operations -The person in this position will transition between Athletics and Camps, focusing on assisting the Athletics/Camps Manager. This staff person will coordinate athletic-run county programs, assist with the newly implemented volunteer program, and other projects to produce faster results with a streamlined approach. This person will also assume a dedicated camp presence during the summer at our east campus location, operating as a point of contact with parents and staff.

Required
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 1 or more years of work experience in recreation or a field related to area of assignment, to include customer service and cash handling experience.
- Community CPR and First Aid certifications required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Level 2 Background check required within 30 days of hire.
- Valid driver license required with valid Florida driver license required within 30 days of hire.
Desired
- Associate -degree in recreation, education, business, public administration, or related field.
A comparable combination of education, training, and work experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position, may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
