Part-Time Recreation Coordinator I – Front Desk -will work 29 hours a week in a part time position, assisting with diversified recreation programs and services for all ages in accordance with community needs. Works with patrons helping with facility and program registration. Collects fees. Processes registrations and generates activity rosters. Assists with recreation facility rentals. Provides tours and information to prospective renters. Implements details outlined in rental agreements, as assigned.
Responds to questions and concerns from patrons. Identifies issues and resolves problems or refers to supervisor as appropriate.

Required Skills
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 1 or more years of work experience in recreation or a field related to area of assignment, to include customer service and cash handling experience.
- If assigned to the Aquatics Program, up to 1 year of experience as a lifeguard and in aquatic programming and maintenance required.
- Community CPR and First Aid certifications required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- If assigned to the fitness program, personal training certification required.
- Level 2 Background check required within 30 days of hire.
- Valid driver license required with valid Florida driver license required within 30 days of hire.
Desired Skills
- Associate degree in recreation, education, business, public administration, or related field.
A comparable combination of education, training, and work experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position, may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
