JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs work to officiate various sports and athletic events and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under general supervision of assigned supervisor.
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of sports and the rules of the games. They will be able to communicate well with players, coaches, parents and spectators.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 16 years of age and moderate experience officiating or playing in assigned sport.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification at department availability.
National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) training based on assignment.
Must meet and maintain all training and education requirements for the position.
Valid Arizona Driver License of appropriate class based on assignment.
