Siemens is looking fora Regional Account Manager for our Vertical Market Food & Beverage/ CPG.

The Siemens Digital Industries- Food & Beverage Vertical is searching for a Regional Account Manager (RAM)to lead and purposefully expand our footprint within key Food & Beverage enterpriseclient and the associated supply chain. As an executive sales professional, the RAMwill be viewed as a “best in class” account manager who will lead Siemens intothe next decade of success with our ever-expanding Digital Enterpriseportfolio.

As the Regional Account Manager, you will make an impact:

  • The RAM is responsiblefor the development, exploitation, and maximization of the local accountpenetration and profitable growth of the assigned account. He/she representsSiemens in all sales/strategic activities and acts as interface between thecustomer and the Siemens organization (HQ, Divisions and Regions).
  • You will also beresponsible for profitable growth of the assigned Key Account for therepresented Siemens organizations (Divisions, BUs, Segments). You will have theopportunity to act as interface between the Key Customer and the Siemensorganization. As the advocate for the Key Customer’s interests, you will beexpected to show a personal long-term dedication for his/her Key Customer (5-7years). The RAM is the central point of contact for the Divisions, BU’s andSegments for the selected multinational Key Account.
  • This is a key rolewithin the Vertical Food & Beverage team and therefore, responsible for localbusiness relationships. In this role you will be responsible to establish,develop and maintain a successful and mutually helpful relationship with theC-level of one of Siemens’ most meaningful customers. Additionally, you willcoordinate international sales staff members. This individual will need to beaccustomed to working with a CRM tool for account planning, opportunitytracking, financial tracking /forecasting, and overall account coordination.Candidates for this role must have experience working with extended teamsacross a diverse geography. This position reports to the Head of the Food &Beverage group.
  • You will need toevaluate the customers market and analyze their business targets & strategy,issues, needs, processes, value chain and key business drivers and efficientlytransfer this knowledge to the Siemens organizations and Regions.
  • Focus on andpursue strategic business opportunities with the Key Customer by coordinatingthe activities of the involved Divisions and Regions.
  • Represent the customer tothe Siemens organizations and ensure a unified approach across Divisions andRegions towards the customer.
  • Develop a unified 3-5-year key account strategybased on the strategic goals of the customer and market knowledge with therelevant Siemens organizations.
  • Align the Siemens business planning of therespective Siemens organizations with the strategic goals of the customer.

You will excelif you have the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years Account Management/Senior Sales andrelated account management experience with a track record of successfulperformance (new orders) within the food and beverage or consumer packaged goods industries.
  • Familiarity with Siemens’ products and solutions
  • Prior experience with simulation or automation software heavily preferred, specifically sales experience with aforementioned software.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing complexprojects/customers successfully.
  • Team Leader: Able to manage and motivate peoplesuccessfully, preferably with experience as a manager of a team in aninternational environment.
  • University degree in engineering or businessadministration or other relevant discipline or other suitable education.
  • Executive Level Presence / Communication & StrongPresentation Skills
  • Local and limited International Travel: 30-50%
  • Local and International Travel: 40-50%

The pay range for this position is $97,500 – $167,200 and the annual incentive target is 30% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
