POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Regional Finance & Admin Manager, this position will research, develop, manage and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent across the Rocky Mountain Region; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success.

Salary: $66,000 – $73,000 Annual – DOE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Work and form relationships with internal management teams to understand their hiring needs and job specifications.
- Implement and manage new sourcing methods (e.g., social recruiting and Boolean searches)
- Drive appropriate social media posting to increase/improve employer brand/culture.
- Develop and release job postings on all platforms available, such as social media and job boards.
- Creates, Posts, monitors and manages job requisitions on all social media platforms
- Utilizes knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and executes innovative recruiting strategies to find qualified candidates…i.e., referral programs, etc.
- Screens prospective candidates by reviewing the experience and education listed on resumes and/or job applications against the job descriptions’/job postings’ qualifications, responsibilities, and demands.
- Manages the interviewing process by performing phone interviews and preparing phone or video interviews with hiring manager.
- Assists manager with final offer negotiation and offer letter.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or Regional Human Resource Generalist during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Work with Regional Sr. Managers to develop and deploy Attract and Retain strategies and programs.
- Attends job fairs in-person or virtually, organizes direct-hiring campaigns.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Manages the Talent Pipeline in all job requisitions and ensures all job requisitions are regularly updated.
- Works closely with Subsidiary HR on recruiting, onboarding, documentation and training.
- Follow up on interview process status and update Talent Acquisition database (SFSF)
- Collects and manages interview notes (e.g., applicant matrix) per job requisition and archives files in the Secure Recruiting Site.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Attends Operation meetings to discuss needs across all departments.
- Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
- Performs other related duties as necessary.
- May assist / or perform onboarding of new hires as needed to assist Regional HR Generalist.
- QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- 5+ years’ experience in recruitment or human resources
- Must have considerable knowledge and experience using various forms of social media for recruitment such as: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Experience developing a recruiting strategy/program
- Knowledge and experience with EEO federal and state regulations.
- General knowledge of employment laws regarding classification of positions i.e., exempt v. non-exempt positions.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet search
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems HR software (SuccessFactors) preferred
- Ability to expertly manage competing priorities and highly organized
- Have an innate sense of urgency to complete/fill job requisitions
- Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.)
- Ability to travel as needed
- Valid Driver’s License is required
- Predictable Regular attendance is required
