Job Description:
As one of our Regulatory Affairs Supervisors at the UF Health Cancer Center (UFHCC), you will be responsible for leading a team of regulatory staff that collaborates with physicians, nurses and other key personnel to ensure compliance with protocol requirements and satisfactory care for enrolled patients.
In your new role you will be responsible for the following:
- Oversight and management of an assigned team of Regulatory Coordinators and Specialists.
- Regulatory management of an assigned portfolio of clinical trials including obtaining approval for new protocols, maintaining approval for existing protocols, obtaining approval for protocol addenda, as well as submitting and tracking all Institutional Review Board documents.
- Managing and establishing internal SOPs and procedures for Regulatory Affairs in compliance with federal, state, and institutional guidelines and policies.
- Ensuring compliance across your assigned portfolio and across your team’s combined portfolio, resolving issues of compliance in a diligent and efficient manner.
- Serving as a subject matter expert on one or more areas including clinical research, regulatory affairs, and/or project management for the Clinical Research Office.
These are professional, management level positions ideal for candidates with extensive experience or and expertise in clinical research and regulatory compliance in an academic setting. The incumbents will report to the Assistant Director of Regulatory Affairs & Compliance as part of the UFHCC’s larger CRO infrastructure .

Expected Salary:
$65,000 – $72,000, annually; Commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge/Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Basic Sciences and/or Health Care.
- Six to eight years of research experience and/or training in an Academic Medical Center.
- Expertise in NCTN/ECTCN Cooperative group trials.
- Experience as a clinical research coordinator or in similar support role for clinical trials.
- Comprehensive and demonstrated understanding of Good Clinical Practice.
- Prior experience as a supervisor or team lead and/or completion of leadership/management training program (eg. Managing at UF – The Supervisory Challenge).
