An employer for a large marketing retail company is looking for an Backend Developer (Python/Django) to join a team of 9+ members. This person will be paired with 1+ Backend Engineer and will work together daily to come up with solutions for the team. This person will be supporting the current team on the back end, and will support the front end (react) & mobile developers as well (depending on the team priorities & what they are enabling). This person will support outstanding issues with Users through Datadog, do feature work, and support overall development.
**This role is 100% REMOTE – prefer CST but flexible**
**This role will be a long-term contract for 2+ years**
Required Skills & Experience
4-5+ years of experience in a back-end engineering role
4-5+ years of experience developing Python/Django
4+ years of experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience working in a Development Pair (sitting together, coming up with solutions together, etc)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
BA Degree / MBA
Data Dog (Monitoring & Analytics tool)
Cloud Experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Cloud Certifications
