Our client, a growing healthcare organization based in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, is seeking a Remote Digital Marketing Director to join their team. This role requires a high-level marketing expert to lead the development, deployment and execution of marketing strategies across the entire organization.
This organization has quadrupled in size in the last couple of years, and the Remote Digital Marketing Director will be offered the opportunity to provide strategic guidance to the leadership team to help scale this growth.
Remote Digital Marketing Director Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Growth Team and senior executives to develop a governing marketing growth strategy for the organization (at a service line and product line level) that integrates a diversified, high-volume, high-accountability, high-transparency, data-driven, ROI-centric approach to drive revenue
- Lead strategy and execution for demand and lead generation activities (content marketing, cold outreach, etc.)
- Set and report out on KPI’s for marketing campaigns and strategies
- Support and partner with Growth Team on tactical execution for industry conferences and events (collateral development, one-pagers, storytelling, etc.)
- Develop strategies to expand the company’s web presence through social media, email, web advertising and other online sources; promote company brand through these channels
- Oversee and coordinate the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including list management, segmentation and email automation
- Be able to build out and optimize web-related projects, Hubspot dashboards, etc.
- Develop and manage a content marketing strategy, including the creation of high-quality, relevant and engaging content for various channels (blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, videos, infographics)
- Collaborate with web design, development, and content resources to monitor and improve search engine optimization (SEO) results for the company’s site(s).
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, both online and offline, and establish guidelines for maintaining this consistency
- Assist with budget preparation and action planning for the marketing department in alignment with organizational growth targets and service line specific forecasts
- Collaborate with external agencies and partners as needed for specialized services, such as public relations or media buying
- Foster a creative and collaborative team culture, providing mentorship, guidance and support to help team members grow professionally
Remote Digital Marketing Director Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field
- 8+ years of professional marketing experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Thorough understanding of digital marketing and general best practice marketing strategies
- Knowledge of social media and HTML
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team/collaborative environment
- Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail
- Ability to conduct and correctly interpret research and web analytics (raw data)
- Ability to work flexible hours, multitask and meet deadlines to implement marketing plans
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; someone who can pivot
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
