Looking to grow you career in Financial Services? LaSalle Network has partnered with a rapidly growing FinTech/Consumer Lending company looking to add a Senior FP&A Associate to their team. The Senior FP&A Associate will act as the analytical engine of the company and conduct in-depth financial modeling to support the strategic business initiatives of the company. This is a highly visible business partnering position that reports to the VP of Finance with a dotted line to the CFO.This position offers a competitive base salary range of $100,000-$115,000 plus bonus.
Senior FP&A Associate Responsibilities :
- Build clear, accurate and reliable predictive forecast modeling for multiple functional areas
- Manage annual planning and budgeting process company-wide (3 businesses currently in the portfolio)
- Build strong financial models for the business, utilizing understanding of financial reporting and cash flow information
- Review historical data, predict future results, analyze and explain budget variances
- Review analysis results and develop insightful suggestions for investment, sourcing, cost reduction and lead strategic business decisions
- Review operations for cost-savings opportunities and work cross-functionally to incorporate these initiatives
- Identify key data sources and utilize data-driven insights about important departmental metrics to improve business decisions
- Coordinate, prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual rolling forecasts and prepare reporting on actuals vs. budgeted results, including additional ad-hoc analysis on results
- Establish budget and operating benchmarks, to assist in preparation of monthly/annual forecasts
- Perform quantitative analysis required including M&A projects
Senior FP&A Associate Requirements:
- 2+ years of FP&A Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Advanced analytical, mathematical and spreadsheet modeling skills
- Experience with business intelligence applications (Microsoft BI preferred)
- Ability to think creatively, deadline-driven and self-motivated contributor
- Experience in multi-unit consumer industries preferred
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision and highly organized
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally to audience of various levels of financial aptitude
- Ability to organize and prioritize work with a high degree of autonomy, and track/coordinate a variety of tasks simultaneously
