Our client is looking for someone to act as Senior Project Manager in the execution of energy (Financed) projects in the service or performance period with the authority to commit to matters of cost and schedule. Maintain overall execution of the Operations, Maintenance Repair, and Replacement (OMRR) requirements related to each assigned contract, coordinating customer and subcontractors, monitoring efforts and evaluating performance, with a goal of fulfilling all performance period OMRR and savings requirements.
Day To Day:
Coordinate with IE&S leadership to determine needs and assess risks inherent with the performance period for each project. Evaluate and develop a clear understanding of the expectations of each contract.
Lead and coordinate subcontractor project managers to ensure successful service implementation, including OMRR planning and execution, performance period project budgets, and logistics planning. Conduct subcontractor procurement/evaluation.
Coordinate with Customers, ensuring effective support to customer needs, overcoming schedule, access, and logistics challenges. Hold regular meetings to ensure excellent communications and lowest-level issue resolution.
Manage and monitor project processes and procedures to ensure company standards are being met regarding quality, safety, and environmental requirements. As needed, conduct site visits. Collaborate with leadership and others as assigned, to regularly evaluate the processes by which performance period services are executed.
Work closely with project controllers to verify project costs to date and develop/maintain an accurate forecast of project costs and profitability. Develop and manage the annual performance period budget. Complete Non-Conforming Cost (NCC) requests
Regularly evaluate the project preventive maintenance plan, driving on time, effective planned maintenance to ensure equipment performance, availability, and savings.
Lead service period communication efforts among the project team and throughout the organization as needed, including regular reports to the Manager of Project Execution and other stakeholders on the status of each projects performance, financial projection, and risks affecting overall performance.
Work Closely with the Measurement and Verification(M&V) Team to ensure all required inspections, trends, and sampling is done annually. Coordinate these activities with the customer. Work with the M&V team to complete the annual M&V report.
Ensure a very good or better CPAR (Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting) evaluation from the Government Contracting Officer.
Required Skills & Experience
MUST HAVES:
At least 8 10 years of progressively responsible roles in Federal Service Contract / Federal Construction Project Management
At least 8-10 years of experience with Operations and Maintenance government contracts
Knowledge of forecasting project cost and probability
Interfacing between customer project status, schedule, and resolution of issues
