Renewable Energy Financial Analyst

Blue Sky Utility, a leading company in the Renewables & Environment industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Renewable Energy Financial Analyst to join our team. The chosen candidate will work closely with other team members and management to provide strategic financial recommendations and analysis to help drive growth and maximize profit. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to advance their career in the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis to support our renewable energy projects and investments.
  • Manage project financing including debt, equity, tax equity and other financing arrangements.
  • Prepare financial models and forecasts for renewable energy projects.
  • Analyze key financial data such as cash flow, return on investment, debt service coverage, and net present value.
  • Conduct market research on renewable energy industry trends.
  • Develop financial budgets, forecasts and reports for senior management.
  • Participate in the negotiation of project agreements with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field is a must.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a finance role within the renewable energy sector, with a heavy focus on modeling.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to complete complex financial and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with renewable energy project finance is a plus.
  • Experience with hubspot is a plus.

A reasonable estimate of the current annual salary range is $120,000-$150,000.
