Renewables Project Manager (Hybrid/Remote)

Opportunity Summary

The Renewables Project Manager initiates, drives and completes projects assigned by the Bay4 Technical Services management. Projects may vary in complexity, length and resource requirements. Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects from initiation through completion
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Interview and coordinate with various Bay4 departments and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and clearly defined
  • Research as required with internal and outside organizations
  • Within the objectives assigned, develop and detail the various elements of the project including scope, costs, timelines, action schedules and decision impact
  • Fulfill procurement and sourcing requirements to meet project goals, including engaging with, negotiating, and managing third-party contractors
  • Provide continuous updates on project progress to members of management, as appropriate
  • Serve as a catalyst to ensure that the project is completed within the defined scope, cost parameters and planned schedule
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors in the execution of projects
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create project documentation as appropriate
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

Work Schedule

Remote position. Normal working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Flexibility, additional hours and weekends may be required to meet business needs.

Fit for Duty

All employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program. This program includes a post-offer drug screening.

Working Conditions

Remote position; office environment during normal business hours.

Compensation

The initial compensation will range between $96,300 and $120,000.

Job Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent project management experience in a technical field desired
  • Experience with renewable energy operation and maintenance projects desired
  • Demonstrated track record of successful goal achievement with the ability to think on a strategic level as well as a tactical level in order to drive solutions within a matrix organization.
  • Experience in the coordination of multiple activities and tasks in multiple disciplines
  • Commercial experience with contract management, negotiations, scheduling and budgeting highly desirable.
  • Ability to understand and interpret business financial drivers
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, including delivering presentations
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use Microsoft 365 software, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • History of using sound judgment to make decisions and set priorities
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make sound professional judgments and recommendations
  • Understand and interpret business financial drivers
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
