Job Description
This is a remote position after training, but it is required that you live in the Orlando/Central Florida area to be considered for this opportunity.

This position is part of our virtual call center. And unlike other call centers, the Vacation Booking Agent your only taking INBOUND phone calls! That’s right, no call lists, cold calls or outbound! You will love working for the Rentals Leadership Team, they are committed to YOUR success, YOUR growth and YOU as a team member.
Don’t worry if you don’t have call center experience! But if you have the personality, the drive and willingness to succeed the amazing Westgate Resorts Training Team will make sure you are set up for success.
What is a Vacation Booking Agent?
The Vacation Booking Agent is part of the Rental Reservations Department and must be a motivated specialist who is sales-oriented, has the ability to think quickly, and can provide the timeshare sales staff with the highest quality of potential clients.
Duties
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing phone calls
- Sales skill with the ability to determine needs.
- Answering questions regarding resort amenities, unit descriptions, location and travel directions, and reservation confirmations.
- Booking reservations
- Familiarity and efficiency with computer systems, knowledge of seasonal rates and awareness of black-out dates.
- Confirming/Canceling reservations
- Problem resolution – Ability to solve problems without hesitation.

- PAY: $16.00/hour (+ $.50 for language differential)
- +Commission opportunities
- +Shift differential (10% Monday – Friday after 5pm, 15% Saturday & Sunday)
Training Schedule: All Paid Training!
- Monday – Friday 9:00AM – 5:30PM (Weeks 1 – 4)
- Nesting – Monday – Friday 9:30AM – 6:00PM (Weeks 5 – 6)
*Both Weekend days are required.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Knowledge of keyboard shortcuts.
- Ability to trouble-shoot & fix minor computer problems independently.
- Able to multi-task. Ability to utilize multiple computer programs at one time.
- Must have basic computer navigation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, not required!
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
Ability to operate a P/C, facsimile, telephone, calculator, and other related office equipment. Ability to sit at a desk and/or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to visually review handwritten and computer-generated documents, as well as view a P/C screen. Ability to make and receive telephone calls.
