WHAT YOU’LL DO
The primary responsibilities of a Resident Monitor I are to guide, assist and support residents in their transition back into community life by carrying out the day-to-day operations of a Pioneer residential reentry program. The Resident Monitor I is responsible for ensuring program and facility safety, monitoring resident movement, verifying resident employment, and supporting structured cognitive and behavioral-based programming designed to promote risk reduction and successful community reintegration.

As a member of the PHS team, the Resident Monitor I collaborates with other staff and community partners to promote a pro-social and supportive program climate that encourages the development of independent living skills. A resident monitor is encouraged to make recommendations to operational policies and procedures consistent with program goals and the agency mission.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Please note: This position has male gender as a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ) under the Title VII guidelines as approved by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth circuit.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.

Must be able to pass and maintain security clearances as required by the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP).

Must have a valid driver’s license.

PREFERABLY YOU’LL BRING

Education: Two years of college level education
