Lineal Inc. is a growing Cape Cod and South Shore Design Build Construction and Architecture company, and we are looking for a Construction Project Manager. The Project Manager will oversee the building process for custom new home and renovations.
Our expectations of the Construction Project Manager:
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
- Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers / sub-contractors to construction sites.
- Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
- Interpret and explain plans and direct the work as needed on site.
- Self perform ( when applicable) and oversee labor as needed to complete the work.
- Be the point person on site for owner contact on a day to day basis.
- Direct and supervise workers and sub-contractors that they are complying with the Lineal Construction Safety Manual and common worksite safety practices.
- Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
Oversee workers/subcontractors who complete specific pieces of the project, such as painting or plumbing. - Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects.
Take part in Lineal staff scheduling correspondence as needed. - Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
- Confer with Lineal office personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
- Utilize “Buildertrend” to perform regular communication with the office of job progress, upcoming project activities and progress photographs.
Construction Project Manager Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Knowledge of construction standards and practices
- Ability to lead others
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in custom home building
Construction Project Manager Pay and Benefits:
- $65,000-$85,000 annually
