Visual/New Media Program Manager

PSE’s Corporate Communications team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Visual/New Media Program Manager position!

Job Description

Leads the development and implementation of the company’s visual/new media strategy including the integration of web, graphic design, creative photography towards creating a seamless and compelling visual story. Responsible for evolving the visual/new media strategy as the company’s communication, marketing and visual media technologies evolve.

Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.

Job Responsibilities
• Contributes to the development of a seamless corporate visual/new media strategy that enables the company to tell a compelling story through communications and marketing on the web, through graphic design, and photography.
• Creates and supports graphic and layout design for print, digital, and web.
• Creates external marketing and advertising materials for residential and commercial products and services.
• Provides oversight and guidance, in conjunction with the Production and Delivery team, on all visual/new media components of communications and marketing efforts.
• Works collaboratively across the company with other departments, in providing expertise to their visual media needs/projects.
• Keeps pace with trends and developments in visual/new media including creative development, graphic design and communications and website development.
• Helps with upholding PSE’s brand and visual standards, enforcing brand consistency and adherence.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, media, internet marketing, multimedia communications, photography and film, social media marketing or related field, and 5 years relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with key tools including web scripting languages and analytics, creative development tools, multimedia tools.
• Outstanding ability to innovate and think creatively, and to identify and resolve problems.
• Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-oriented work environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High levels of integrity and self-motivation.
• Proficient in MS Office tools.

Desired Qualifications
• Advertising or creative agency experience
• Participation in visual new media related online communities, conferences, etc.
• Experience in website creation and ongoing content management
• Broad knowledge of gas and electric utility rates, business objectives, to include operations, customer service, finance, and corporate relations
• Experience working with tools including Canva, Adobe, Smartsheet
• Demonstrated understanding of how to adjust design elements across various mediums (e.g., copy length, color, visual placement) and ability to lead, present and defend creative concepting with minimal direction
• Strong creative portfolio that includes advertising design concepts
• Create hand-drawn illustration and digitally created images

The pay range for this position is $67,200.00 – $104,400.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
