Primary Responsibilities
The Retail Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the customer relationship in partnership with Retail Operations Managers, who drive operational efficiencies between KeHE and the Customer. Key drivers for success in this position involve building and leveraging relationships with both store personnel and internal KeHE warehouse and transportation contacts to resolve store level issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions
- Provide communications and problem-solving support in the field for the Account Team, Store personnel, Warehouse & Transportation departments.
- Address credit trends with KeHE Operations and Transportation departments for ongoing issue resolution.
- Monitoring and owning customer submitted tickets, requesting KeHE support in areas such as special delivery requests, recovery deliveries, and product/load integrity issues.
- Prompting warehouse inventory checks for product issues received into stores, logging and tracking through to resolution.
- Daily tracking of products left on dock and redelivery plan, owning communication through to the customer including running pallet queries to provide item level detail.
- Managing delivery exceptions and delivery plan, owning communication through to the customer.
- Ownership of activities above for new categories of business, with the ability to prioritize for action and response.
- Tracking, monitoring, and communication of metrics or key data as required for the business stakeholders.
- Maintaining store order and delivery schedules, completing regular checks for alignment against the Transportation Management System
- Providing support to store personnel, Retail Operations Managers, and Account Team as needed.
- Visit stores for ad hoc needs (observe deliveries, capture order information, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned.
- This role will be onsite with a Sunday-Thursday work week.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous clerical experience and knowledge of operations and transportation functions preferred
- Must be proficient with MS Office with focus on Excel
- Strong data-entry with high rate of accuracy preferred
- Excellent communication, grammar, verbal and writing skills
- Must be resourceful and well organized with an ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision
- Above average telephone skills with experience focusing on customer satisfaction (internal and external)
- High energy level, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature and flexible.
- Ability to work weekends.
