Job Description
This position is responsible for reporting, assisting in creating high level plans to support the Company’s goals and growth objectives. The candidate provides clear sightlines into the business to maximize business opportunities and minimize risk.
- Partner with Director of Planning to develop pre-season and in-season annual sales, margin, and inventory plans
- Serve as a thought partner to buyers and operational teams in evaluating business opportunities and liabilities
- Manage vendor OTB with collaboration with buying team. Responsible for reforecast of sales and inventory based on trends and history
- Responsible for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, including store and ecomm performance, event and markdown recaps, receipt reconciliation and ad-hoc analysis
- Ensure weekly & monthly close out of financial impacts, including vendor allowance, inventory movements, gifting, transfers and return to vendor
- Assist field team to ensure operational tasks are completed, including transfers, inventory receiving, stock balancing etc.
- Collaborates on continual development and improvement of planning tools and processes
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in merchandise planning, merchandising, financial planning, strategy, or business analytics
- Strong analytical ability, financial and problem solving skills with a passion for numbers and product
- Strong technical aptitude, including advanced competency in Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly master new applications and systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrates a complete comprehension of retail math and its application
- Strong degree of accountability and attention to detail
Pay Transparency Min $80K – Max $90K
