The Revenue Accountant, reporting to Revenue Manager, will be a key member within the financial team and be directly responsible for day-to-day accounting activities related to revenue recognition.
What you’ll be working on
- Partner with Business Systems and Sales Operations teams to ensure revenue transactions are correctly reflected in accounting system and accurately presented in financial statements.
- Execute month-end close for revenue process – preparing necessary journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Aid in improving business processes, systems, and feel comfortable streamlining existing processes for month-end/year-end activities.
- Support special projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Masters’ degree is a plus.
- CPA is preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting, primarily in revenue accounting.
- Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP. Implementation experience is desirable.
- Strong work ethic, high level of precision and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, time management, written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt, multitask, stay organized, and collaborate with other departments/teams, including in different geographies and time zones.
- Ability to build confidence and trust with internal and external constituencies.
- Willingness to learn and implement best practices from industry peers.
- Ability and desire to optimize processes to support scaling business.

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $85,000-$93,000 at Campbell, CA. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
