Revenue Accounting Manager, PBNA PGT

The Revenue Accounting Manager will be accountable for assisting the Revenue and Cost Accounting Lead in the deployment of the PBNA S/4 HANA for the Revenue Process within Record to Report (RTR).

The Revenue process covers different aspects of the top line and overall P&L reporting such as:

  • Ensures that revenues, discounts (both on and off ticket) are properly posted to the General Ledger, including the CO-PA (Profitability Analysis) characteristics and hierarches that are available as part of the new system capabilities
  • Ensures proper revenue recognition
  • Develop allocations solutions for reporting purposes
  • Works closely to Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, Finance and Trade Promotions teams ensuring that their solutions for both interim state and end state have the correct accounting representation and do not impact the overall PGT solution.

The Revenue Accounting Manager will support the delivery of S/4 HANA solution across Bottling US and PBC Canada. This role will partner extensively across the organization with the larger PBNA PGT project team, baseline business leaders, IT organization, Global Template Team and with the various external partners on the project (IBM, PwC and SAP).

Responsibilities

  • Support the successful and sustainable implementation of new harmonized process, data, analytics and controls within process area
  • Execute project activities within process area
  • Assist in connecting baseline business leaders, IT development team and any third-party regarding software functionality, throughout the project
  • Support business readiness reviews
  • Support super user activity including UAT (user acceptance testing)
  • Support adoption and change management, as well as develop and deliver end user training
  • Assist in providing post go-live support
  • Percent Travel – 15% (if not NY based)

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,000 – $ 135,000
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out Annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

  • For internal candidates: Knowledge of PBC business. Field Financial Reporting or Trade would be desired
  • Positive, resilient and motivated to change and simplify processes
  • Ability to perform and prioritize under pressure
  • Meticulous and organized
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to move forward or seek answers regardless
  • Ability to influence and work through others; open to new ways of working, adopting industry standards and best practices
  • Effective communicator, both written and oral; ability to articulate or demonstrate perspectives

Preferred Candidate:

  • PBC/ PBNA P&L experience (preferred)
  • Oracle GL and/ or SAP GL experience
  • Horizon Finance and Horizon Sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA (preferred)
