RF Test Lead

Description
Knowles Precision Devices designs and builds microwave and RF products for applications in telecom, aerospace and defense market customers, providing custom solutions for their unique needs. This position is a hands-on role, providing support for production testing and new product development through laboratory analysis and the fabrication of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Hands-On testing and assembly of RF devices while working with a cross functional team of assemblers, inspectors and engineers. In support of customer delivery commitments
- Collect and analyze data of devices from 1 – 67 GHz with a Network Analyzer setup with a wafer probe test station and microscope
- Perform SOLT calibrations of test equipment and change and maintain equipment setup, such as: changing probes, maintaining connectors and maintaining cables and determine which replacements are needed.
- Support and train new operators, unfamiliar with electrical test equipment and troubleshooting
- Support the documentation of processes and procedures
- Set up and operate specialized metrology equipment, such as: Spectrum Analyzers, temperature test stages and other electrical testing
- Perform data collection and to monitor relevant process trends
- Comply with and support company policies and programs regarding safety, security, ISO, EEO, OSHA
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A technical associates degree in electrical technology, equivalent military experience or apprenticeship in a related field of study
- 5+ Year experience performing electrical component testing or troubleshooting and measuring S-Parameter data with a network analyzer.
- Familiarity with Spectrum Analyzers, RF Power testing and ESD protocols are a plus.
- Must have demonstrated ability to read and analyze basic engineering drawings and schematics with guidance and follow acceptance and qualification test procedures
- Must have the ability to train others and work as a member of inter-disciplinary teams
- Must be able to perform lab duties meeting procedural and EHS requirements.
- Must be a U.S. citizen. Must have or be eligible for U.S. DOD Security Clearance. New hire will be subjected to a background investigation.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting hourly pay for this role is targeted to be between $22.00 to $28.00.
