Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary
Undergraduate intern will provide technical scientific support for the Totonchy laboratory, which specializes in molecular virology and immunology. This person will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the laboratory including, but not limited to, molecular cloning, tissue culture and experimental analysis via biochemical techniques. The intern will keep detailed records of experimental procedures and resulting data.
Responsibilities
• Provide research support for ongoing scientific investigations. This includes construction of tools by molecular cloning techniques, maintenance of cultured cells and cell lines, and the execution and analysis of experiments in cultured cells.
• Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and data.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Current Chapman University undergraduate student in good standing, pursuing a degree in any discipline of Biological Sciences.
