DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop software to analyze fixed income/derivatives/securitized products using a scripting language framework with dependency graph. Understand the theory behind legacy and new risk/valuation models, drivers of changing market variables and interpret model results. Implement valuation and analytics models, carry out testing and validation. Work with core technology and engineering teams to design and implement scalable frameworks. Collaborate with teams across various business lines to develop new analytical tools and products to achieve business goals. Maintain, support, and regularly enhance codebase at the core of tools utilized by internal and external clients. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve client requests and questions in a timely and professional manner. Write clear and concise documentation. Generate quantified analytics reports on historical performance as well as projected losses of different structured asset classes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as CIB QR SPG NY, Associate , Risk Management Consultant, Consultant for CME Group, Business Analyst or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus Five (5) years of experience.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Scripting language framework with dependency graph; Bond math, standard valuation, risk, and cashflow models; Writing scalable code to calculate, analyze, and benchmark econometric model results; Programming languages: Python and C++; React; Java; Intex; Bloomberg; Quantitative and business knowledge of investment banking trading products in at least one of the following asset classes: Fixed Income, Rates Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, or Securitized Products.

Salary: $200,000.00-$285,000.00 per year.
