Landmark Health seeks to become the national leader in interdisciplinary home-based medical care for complex patients. To do this, we need best-in-class clinical, operational and technology infrastructure and the processes and culture necessary to continuously evaluate and improve our model. In dyad strategic partnership with the Chief of Clinical Innovations, the VP, Clinical Innovations will be an important part of the Senior Management Team, collaborating with Clinical and Operations leadership to innovate upon Landmark’s clinical care model and, as appropriate, inform the business model.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The VP will oversee strategic, operational and when appropriate, technical aspects of the prioritization and comprehensive development and planning of net new clinical programmatic efforts that measurably enhance quality, value and experience of patient care delivery, and/or support key strategies for the evolution of the business
  • This position will report directly to the Chief, Clinical Innovations, and be a critical part of the Senior Leadership Team, with significant exposure and visibility with other Executive Leaders within Landmark, Optum and UHC
  • This leader will excel at working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to refine and evolve the overall Landmark strategy and business model to uphold evidence based and best practice clinical care

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of business planning, management and/ or relevant consulting or professional services experience across a range of business disciplines, including healthcare
  • Experience leading or developing clinical initiatives
  • Superior people management skills and demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Proven track record of driving operational projects from conception to implementation to refinement
  • Proven excellence in organizational and project management with the ability to lead multiple complex projects
  • Demonstrated track record of leading by influence, demonstrated ability to drive cross functional results without direct authority
  • Proven analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals, evaluate outcomes
  • Proven action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA/advanced degree
  • Experience in home-based medical care, primary care/geriatrics, palliative care, and/or value-based care models
  • Demonstrated solution-oriented mindset and work approach
  • Proven charisma and a natural ability to connect with others
  • Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persistent

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $142,300 to $273,200. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
