Pay Rate: $60-65/hr
Role: Roku Automation Tester
Location: NYC
• Candidate must have experience with Application testing on Roku OTT platform.
• Must be familiar with various Roku devices.
• Should possess good testing knowledge on various Roku devices.
• Must have good experience on Automation testing.
• Must be familiar with the various testing frameworks.
• Should be able to work independently.
• Must have selenium and Appium testing experience.
• Must have Roku Automation testing experience.
• Testing experience on OTT platforms Apple TV, Fire TV and Mobile devices will be added advantage.
• Candidate must be familiar with VPN like Express VPN, Geo Edge etc.
• Candidate must have experience working with Charles Proxy tool.
• Must have working experience of JIRA defect tracking tool.
• Must have working knowledge of excel, google docs.
• Should be able to work independently and own the responsibilities.
• Candidate should be well versed with the Agile Scrum process.
• Candidate should be proactive and ready to actively participate at all steps of delivery, starting from epic refinement, story estimation.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
• Experience using Jira software.
• Provide a risk assessment on the defects identified and set the correct priority and severity.
• Understanding application behavior and utilizing testing techniques
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
