Rotational Analyst Program (Finance/Accounting – NYC) June 2024 Start

The Paramount Rotational Analyst Program is a two-year program designed to develop ambitious, hard-working recent college graduates into future leaders within Paramount’s financial and accounting organization. Beginning summer 2024, the Rotational Analysts will participate in three, eight-month rotations over two years.

You will gain cross-divisional/departmental knowledge and the business acumen to prepare for future opportunities across Paramount’s financial functions. Early on, you will assume an active role in an assigned department and will be given projects and tasks related to important aspects of the business. A high level of visibility and exposure to key decision makers will be available, in addition to a formal leadership level mentor to support your individualized growth.

Program Benefits

  • Full-time staff position for two years, which includes competitive salary and benefits.
  • Proper work authorization is required to be employed within the United States for the full length of the program (June 2024 – June 2026).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with daily financial management and monthly forecasting.
  • Work with business partners to gain insight and knowledge that could affect forecasts.
  • Responsible for crafting and maintaining complex financial models to support the budgeting, forecasting, and expense optimization.
  • Run quarterly payment process.
  • Assist Accounting in monthly/quarterly close which includes preparation of accruals, reconciliation, and variance analysis of forecast to actual results.
  • Run and analyze reports from the general ledger.
  • Build valuable analyses around using key KPI and core business metrics to drive better decisions and results.
  • Ad hoc requests and analyses as needed.
  • Create and maintain positive and effective working relationships.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related quantitative degrees.
  • Graduation date between December 2023 and May 2024.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, macros, etc.).

Hiring Salary Range: $73,000.00 – 73,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
