Meet the team:
The Dexcom Rotational Finance Development Program (RFDP) provides diverse experiences, training, and mentorship for early-career individuals seeking to develop their technical skills, business acumen, and leadership foundations to accelerate their future career opportunities. The goal of this program is to build up future leaders within Dexcom Finance, acting as the foundation for your success and helping you create a clear career path within the company once you complete the program. At the end of the program candidates will be highly sought-after candidates to continue their career at any of Dexcom worldwide locations. Placement selection will be a match between employee’s career interest, goals and skills and Dexcom need.

Where you come in:
Participants will work in four different functions within the CFO organization at the Dexcom headquarters located in San Diego, CA. Each full time paid rotational assignment is designed to stretch and prepare them to continue their career as influential financial leaders.

You will have:
• A hybrid work experience with typically 3 to 4 days physically working in our beautiful San Diego headquarters office tower
• Ongoing mentorship from a senior leader and visibility to other leaders
• Coaching and support from a peer advisor during each rotation
• Personal and group development & training
• Social events with all finance staff
• Structured development programs and assignments to help you along the learning curve in technical accounting, analytical skills, FP&A budgeting and Dexcom financial systems and processes
• Presentation of learning and performance feedback at each assignment
• We encourage participants to pursue certification in management accounting (CMA) and /or public accounting (CPA).

What makes you successful:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree (received between August 2023 to June 2024) in finance, accounting, or related business major
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Previous internships or related work experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Enjoys analytical, quantitative, and problem solving
• Adaptability and ability to learn quickly in fast paced environments
• Has shown leadership, teamwork, and propensity to drive for results
• A well-rounded character, appreciating diversity and valuing inclusion
• Applicants must not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status to work in the United States
• People skills and personal courage (participating in meetings, asking questions, etc.)
• Strong desire to learn and be mentored
• Desire to learn and work in new systems (financial reporting system, accounting systems, etc.)
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel
• Knowledge and interest in healthcare industry

Exempt Salary Details:
• The annual base salary range for this role is $59,000 to $98,300. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.

Experience and Education

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree and 0-2 years of related experience.
