The On-site/Hybrid IT Help Desk Technician (IT Tech) works with Lumin Digital team members to ensure equipment and tools are working and well maintained. Lumin Digital works with a partner to provide this service. The IT Tech provides day-to-day support for employee devices (primarily Macs), manages permissions for employees in various systems, assists the Manager, IT Help Desk with projects, and coordinates with our outsourced partner to constantly improve service levels. The qualified candidate possesses exceptional communication skills, is organized, and is a team player.
This position is a hybrid role, requiring approximately 3 days a week in Lumin’s San Ramon, California office. The candidate will need to be located within a commutable distance for their in-office days, and emergencies. In addition to the previously mentioned tasks, the On-site Technician will support systems in the office such as – printers, Zoom rooms, conference room hardware – Mac Minis, TV’s, iPads, speakers, cameras. Other office specific tasks may be assigned such as troubleshooting office Wi-Fi connectivity, badge readers, and so forth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Triage and resolve issues and help requests submitted to the service desk, for systems in the Lumin Digital San Ramon office.
-Respond to requests for assistance from employees with their Macs and other devices.
-Triage and resolve issues and help requests submitted to the service desk, for systems not located in the office through the ticketing system.
-Assist with run books to help outsourced partner better resolve issues.
-Grant and remove access for employees and vendors to various systems.

DESIRED SKILLS:
-2+ years of experience in a help desk role
-2+ years of experience supporting Mac laptops/desktops and MacOS, and/or Apple Certified Support Professional ACSP certified
-Experience with Atlassian, JAMF, OKTA, and other related tools
-Experience supporting Zoom Rooms and Zoom administration would be ideal
-Printer support experience is preferred

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
$60,000 – $70,000 a year
