Job Description
The Associate Inside Service Sales/Sales Administrator II position is geared towards a candidate with less experience but lots of potential to learn. They are an integral part of the Juniper Americas Inside Services sales team which is responsible to manage the annual maintenance service contract renewals for Juniper’s various support options. Position involves a combination of data administration and sales responsibilities, learning the role from the base levels through managing high end accounts. They will develop and use professional concepts and technical expertise, and exercise judgment to develop renewal quotes for all expiring maintenance contracts and pursue renewals through purchase. They will assist with other service sales issues raised by the Service Business Manager (SBM) they support. This position will develop a detailed knowledge of all tools, systems, processes and policies related to maintenance services and quoting, entitlement and service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Partners with SBM and field sales in driving attainment of assigned team quota, primarily for maintenance renewals
- Uses detailed systems and process knowledge to develop proactive and reactive renewal quotes for all expiring contracts
- Responsible to make direct contact with customers, partners and distributors as needed to ensure timely receipt of renewal purchase orders
- Assists with sales/SBM-led deals by providing quote and process support
- Manages sales opportunity forecast in Salseforce.com
- Interacts with various related teams to ensure positive customer experience; case resolution, database/entitlement management, problem resolution, general inquiries
- Attends regular status-update field sales team meetings to ensure service business information is received or disseminated on a timely basis
- Performs all database management and data analysis required to prepare accurate quotes and maintain data integrity
Required Skills/Experience
- Some Sales or Customer Service experience is preferred but not necessary, recent college graduates should apply.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to organize and work on multiple projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an outgoing, positive and friendly personality
- Some data entry and Excel skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a sales, business or marketing concentration.
Skills:
- Microsoft office required – Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
- CRM system beneficial – SAP, SFDC
Minimum Salary: $54,450.00
Maximum Salary:$83,490.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $54,450.00 and $83,490.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
