Job Summary:

Seeking part time (approximately 25-30 hours per week) individual to join the Front Office team at the Hythe, Luxury Collection Vail, to assist operational and guest needs in relation to guest billing disputes and folio requests. Ideally versed in Marriott reward programs, Lightspeed and basic hotel operations, we are seeking an individual with a Luxury customer service mindset who will interact positively with guests and colleagues to resolve issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Rectifying guest folio concerns in a timely manner.
  • Respond effectively to guest problems and complaints.
  • Answering Front office billing requests via GXP, phone, teams and email.
  • Timely posting to guest folios, 3rd party billings related to hotel laundry, retail, and transportation operations.
  • Assistance with running advanced deposits on upcoming guest stays as well as monitoring high balance folios, aged folios, forfeitures/cancellations and other guest account related items as needed.
  • Assist in the review of upcoming departure guest folios to ensure accurate reporting, notations, and billing.
  • Support accounting with Credit card charges and research.
  • Ensure compliance will all Brand Standards and meet and exceed Brand Standard Audit Goals for the Luxury Collection.
  • Anticipatory guest service and prompt response to guest questions and concerns.
  • Utalize GXP to log guest issues and monitor open cases for billing items.
  • Maintaining a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, and ethics in dealing both with guests and co-workers.
  • Complies with all Resort policies, procedures and standards of operation.
  • Performs any additional tasks or projects as required or deemed necessary by management.

Job Requirements:

  • HS diploma required – required.
  • Marriott Systems including; Lightspeed PMS, GXP, Sertifi, Givex etc – preferred.
  • Microsoft office (teams, excel, word, outlook etc) – required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex correspondence in english – required.
  • Ability to effectively present details information both verbally and written forms to guests, leaders, team members throughout organization in English – required.
  • Bi-lingual; Spanish – preferred.
  • Attention to detail – Required
  • Other duties and tasks as reasonably requested by management

The expected pay range is $20 – $24. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
