The Amazon Business team is dedicated to developing solutions that make it easy for business customers to source, procure, and manage supply chain using Amazon. Account Executives are an integral component to Amazon Business as a key customer facing representative. You have the opportunity to lead a team of Account Executives who are engaging with organizations with annual revenues between $500MM and $3B, from prospecting to strategic account growth. There are also a myriad of surrounding business management functions that you will need to direct for the success of your team (e.g. marketing, product development, supply sourcing).
The ideal candidate will have B2B sales and management experience including identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large scale deals. Candidate should be a self-starter with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.

Roles & Responsibilities
Develop a go-to-market acquisition, management plan and team within assigned industry sub-verticals, including but not limited to:
– Take ownership of industry verticals within commercial sector to be a leading expert with its supply chain practices, needs, and opportunities.
– Determine the best go-to-market approach, including direction for solution/product development and services
– Take lead on hiring open positions on the team.
– Develop and nurture Account Executives as they improve their skills, processes, and tools to effectively prospect, present, close, and grow adoption of Amazon Business.
– Participate in customer meetings to support Account Executives as they work with their customers.
– Represent the Voice of Customer by working cross-functionally with marketing, sales operations, professional services, and product/tech

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS or equivalent.
5+ years of sales experience
5 + years of management experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office products and applications, CRMs (e.g. Salesforce.com), sales and marketing automation tools, and eLearning tools.
Experience and understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in prior interactions with sellers and distributors.
Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
Experience hiring and leading sales or account management teams focused on acquiring and managing enterprise customers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience conversing with senior customer stakeholders including Directors and VPs of procurement, CPOs, VP’s supply chain, and CIOs.
Experience selling to large, medium and small merchants and successfully delivering a multi-million dollar sales quota.
MBA preferred.
8+ years of management experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
