About the Role
Supporting the Showroom Manager, this role will ultimately drive exceptional sales and customer service results for our San Diego Showroom operations. You will motivate and coach a diverse and talented team of bridal stylists, fostering a collaborative and inspiring environment. As Sales Manager you will also be required to consult and style brides daily to impeccable GLL standards and drive individual and team sales results. This role will support the Showroom Manager in all showroom operations whilst ensuring the showroom and samples are presented immaculately at all times.
This is a Full-Time role which require open availability & candidates who can commit to consistent weekend work, being our busiest days.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 2 + years of previous experience in retail management or leadership position in a related field is required
- Previous experience in sales with a strong focus on customer service (luxury fashion, wedding or bridal industry is highly regarded)
- A strong leader capable of being a role model of appropriate behaviors
- Exceptional sales techniques and experience driving and achieving strong sales results
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Highest standard of attention to detail
- Exceptional personal presentation
- Ability to manage several projects at the same time
- Ability to build and maintain a strong relationship with our customers from the initial consultation to closing the sale
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment to achieve targeted results
- Ability to travel at short notice to provide coverage if required
- Experience in using NetSuite or a similar CRM system is advantageous.
- Experience working with clientele in an appointment-based retail environment is advantageous.
- Fabric or gown construction knowledge is advantageous.
- Ability to learn quickly and retain information across a diverse and high-quality product range
- Our peak times are the weekend so the successful candidate must have open availability including working weekends
- Intermediate to advanced Administration & IT skills using Microsoft suite, appointment scheduling, NetSuite, Microsoft Outlook on a daily basis
