Sales Operations Manager, Strategic Account Services (SAS)

The Strategic Account Services (SAS) organization strives to improve the Amazon customer experience by working directly with Selling Partners to enable more selection, reduce defects, and drive growth across their businesses. Our team invents and innovates across technology, processes and people to enhance the services we offer, improve Selling Partner engagement and satisfaction, and build scalable solutions.

The Sales Operations Manager develops, iterates and executes resilient sales operations processes to help stakeholders mitigate impediments to business continuity while collaborating with product, tech and business teams. An ideal candidate is analytical, autonomous, and cross functionally collaborative with effective communication skills. They are accountable towards organizational goals and work backwards from customers, stakeholders and dependent teams to successfully deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. Above all, they should demonstrate a high level of ownership, as they would contribute to seller experience on the Amazon platform.

Key job responsibilities

1. Drive definition of sales processes, pipelines, goals, and reporting to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve strategic objectives

2. Track and report all key performance indicators, goals, efficiency and trend analyses during monthly business reviews

3. Influence stakeholders outside your direct area of responsibility to ensure delivery. Identify and mitigate risks, and remove roadblocks within projects. Drive accountability from stakeholders for progress on key program actions through active engagement and escalation.

4. Analyze data and trends to make informed recommendations to managers and drive change. Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed

5. Conduct effective meetings (WBR) and able to dive deep into details as easily as convey high-level plans with clear and concise verbal and written communication. Transform raw thoughts into clear documentation and requirements (e.g., project charter, statement of work, responsibility matrix, functional requirements, implementation approach, reporting, etc.).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Operations Management or related field.
• 5+ years proven project management ability that shows how to organize, find solutions, and follow through to a successful conclusion.
• Proven excellent communication skill (written and verbal) and/or confidence in communicating in a cross-cultural setting and enforcing difficult business decisions
• Internal and external customer focus and a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed
• Independent and Entrepreneurial – ability to work with minimal guidance in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results while managing multiple projects and operational task expectations.
• Strong computer skills working in multiple applications, especially the MS Office Suite and Salesforce

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Experience with Sales Performance Management solutions
• Experience with sales data management solutions and data integration with Salesforce.com
• Experience in Territory Planning, Quota Development, Sales Performance Management, Sales Incentive programs
• Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL) and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Practical experience with requirement gathering for analytics solutions (end-to-end) over multiple technologies, size, and scale of projects.
• Project/Program Management Certification: PMP, or equivalent, Lean Six Sigma.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
