General Summary:
Qualcomm Global Commercial Operations team is seeking a self-motivated, highly adaptive, and responsible individual that is talented in creating impactful training content and has a foundation in e-Learning within a corporate environment. This person will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the Sales Operations teams and various cross-functional teams to plan, organize, create, and distribute training videos and documents to be consumed by internal and external Sales teams. The individual will also be responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating live training calls for large global Sales teams. The individual will use their skills and creativity to build and maintain compelling PowerPoint presentations, team websites and other group needs in a fast-paced environment. This role will be responsible for setting up courses within a cloud-based e-Learning tool (Brainshark) and tracking and reporting various metrics to management. This person will also assist in business process analysis, helping to ensure that the Sales operational training activities are in alignment with other corporate training programs, as well as assess which software, distribution tools, and methodologies are best for the program.
Responsibilities:
- Apply instructional design skills and creativity to build upon SME’s input, creating useful training PowerPoint decks, training videos (including slide creation, basic animations, and voiceover), reference guides or other training materials needed to support successful process and system rollouts to Sales teams
- Utilize strong communication and collaboration skills to work with different teams across the organization to understand new and existing processes, collect necessary training information, analyze best modalities for each project, and lead training content creation
- Demonstrate a high level of written communication skills for change management notifications, organizational newsletters, and learner engagement communications
- Exhibit leadership skills in running meetings with cross-functional teams (SMEs) to organize, plan, and drive cohesive training sessions
- Maintain and continuously improve the internal SharePoint sales training website
- Analyze and implement ideas to increase user engagement
- Gather, organize, and analyze metrics data as needed for group needs
- Understand and communicate complex processes in a clear, easy to follow manner using video or PowerPoint
- Take pride in the quality of work, focus on meeting tight deadlines, and thrive in a multi-tasking environment
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma and 5+ years’ experience with instructional design, training programs including e-Learning, creation of reference documents, and organization of live demonstrations
- Must have strong skills in MS PowerPoint
- Moderate knowledge of SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS or AA in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Instructional Design or related discipline or equivalent experience
- Ability to write well written documents and emails for a global audience
- Strong project management skills – able to communicate and partner with all levels of management and non-management toward project completion
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM
- Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Working knowledge of the Brainshark tool
- Experience with ChatGPT or Generative AI
- Experience with video editing or design tools such as InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Articulate Rise or Storyline
- Experience with Tableau and analysis of metrics
- Experience with Qualcomm internal systems
- Experience in the mobile industry
- Moderate skills in Excel
- Comfortable reading scripts in training videos
- Ability to quickly adapt to new projects and priorities
- Ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly and a willingness to seek knowledge on his/her own

Pay range:
$102,500.00 – $153,500.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
