The Role:
Cognizant is looking for an experienced Salsify Consultant to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the candidate should be an expert engineer who values the “team”, drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyzes current technologies used by the client and identifies the best solution for successful PIM launch including organizational technology process and governance components
- Provides detailed specifications and estimations for proposed solution utilizing in-depth knowledge of industry best practices
- Leads strategic problem-solving activities including workshops and trainings with client executives and stakeholders
- Structures and presents recommendations to senior client leadership exhibiting exceptional communication skills while driving executive buy-in
- Documents and monitors requirements definition and documentation ensuring project deliverables are of the highest quality
- Identifies and accounts for possible project challenges including risks time resources and scope
- Works closely with project management resources to successfully monitor progress of initiatives
- Operate effectively in a dynamic multi-tasking environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field (or equivalent education or work experience)
- 7+ years of demonstrated ability in an IT related role
- Minimum 3 years of MDM/PIM consulting experience with proven accomplishments in business strategy roadmap creation data modeling MDM operations and competitive analysis
- Strong Python skills
- Prior direct experience leading the scope
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $106,000 – 117,000 USD depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
