Role: SAP HR/ HCM Consultant – Manager
Location: Will work remotely customer in White Plains, NY
Duration: Full Time only – Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Job responsibilities:
• New HCM Functional/ Development
• ABAP code management
• Modify/Develop the ABAP programs to fulfill development requests.
• Resolution of development requests using ServiceNow tickets; weekly status updates to NYPA IT PoC; formal submission of ticket closeout and acceptance to NYPA PoC.
• Documentation and Knowledge Transfer
• Complete step by step documentation of interface and functional issues resolved with screenshots included to ensure maintenance by NYPA staff.
• Complete documentation for each trouble ticket across interface and ABAP functional development; recordings of monthly knowledge transfer sessions explaining the resolution.
• IT Project Management Office Compliance.
• Provide all necessary documentation as required by the IT PMO Governance process as it relates to the requests.
• Deliverables must be approved by the IT PM or NYPA PoC.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Have 7+ years SAP HCM/HR Module ABAP Code Development experience.
• Have 7+ years SAP HCM/HR Module Functional experience.
• Have 7+ years working in SAP HCM/HR requirement gathering experience.
• Have 7+ years debugging/testing in SAP HCM/HR ABAP code
• Have experience working with customers in Utility industry.

Salary and Other Compensation :
The annual salary for this position is between $123,000 – 148,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
