Position Description
As a Senior Logistics Business Analyst, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Adhere to Applied Medical’s Quality Systems (QS) through training and implementation
- Comply with safety regulations, Company policies, and operational procedures
- Gather intricate business and software requirements for projects and change requests
- Provide expertise in designing, validating software solutions, and generating design documents, functional specifications, and test scripts
- Research and prototype innovative and complex solutions, configuring systems to match sophisticated business needs
- Conduct peer reviews of system configurations, specification documents, and provide functional and technical support for development tasks
- Ensure software solutions meet performance expectations through testing and timely project execution
- Lead data migration, cutover processes, and support enterprise systems while streamlining processes
- Evaluate new systems, technologies, collaborate with stakeholders, and suggest innovative solutions
- Achieve and uphold performance targets, maintaining strict adherence to Quality System procedures and policies
- Collaborate with the Applied Learning team on material development, reviews, and conducting training sessions
- Continuously expand knowledge of information systems and undertake additional responsibilities, as needed
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
- At least seven years of hands-on experience in a related field, using SAP Logistics Execution and Warehouse Management modules
- Professional-level SAP Certification, or equivalent, in one or more application areas
- Professional-level configuration expertise in SAP Logistics Execution and Warehouse Management
- Demonstrated proficiency in designing effective software solutions
- Advanced understanding of integration touch points involving SAP Enterprise Core Component (ECC) and other modules
- Knowledge and experience working within a compliant Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 21 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 11 environment
- Proven organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently within cross-functional teams
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient grasp of SAP programming concepts
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Capability to provide training to team members
- Advanced technical writing proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project and Visio
- Familiarity with software validation processes
Preferred
The following skills and attributes are preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Adeptness with SAP S/4HANA in at least one application area
- Proficiency in project management, demonstrated through proven skills
Benefits
The base compensation range for this role is $105000 – $160000 / year for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
