Role: SAS Administrator

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prior experience with SAS cloud migration is preferred.
- Setup/Configure AWS services (EC2 Lambda Storage Security Groups Security Cloud Watch/logging ADFS integration etc)
- Create EC2 instances Attach AWS storage Apply security groups/IAM Roles.
- Support the Design and build for SAS in Cloud
- Install/Configure SAS LSF ESM and other utilities on EC2
- Install and configure ODBC/JDBC drivers and test connectivity with SAS Compute
- Implement Performance and Audit Tests for SAS Compute against Cloud Storage options
- Support Data migration to Cloud Storage and automate verification using shell and/or python scripts
- Perform code remediation for existing SAS Python and shell scripts
- Create Documentation for SAS/Storage in Cloud
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver objectives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members including project coordinators technical leads and business analysts.
Position Qualifications:
Required skills:
- You should hold a Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or equivalent certification
- 5+ years of IT related experience
- 3+years of proven hands on experience with AWS Lambda AWS Glue AWS Big Data technical skills
- 3+ years of proven hands on experience with SAS, SAS Admin, Python
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $87,000 – $115,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
