Responsibilities
Be part of our exciting team supporting a robust, world-wide communications network, providing office automation packages; document and information management tools; and collaboration, voice, and video tools in a secure, flexible, distributed architecture supporting a classified DoD IT system. Peraton is seeking a Master Scheduler to support the program to create and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule to understand and visualize numerous project and program dependencies and complexities. Responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain a program-level IMS which includes major milestones and deliverables with projected start dates, due dates, schedule status, assigned resources, priorities of work and alignment to Contractor’s Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS)
- Coordinate and maintain an integrated project and activity schedule
- Develop the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), and the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Lead cross functional team members in the definition of project tasks, establish task durations, define relationships, impose constraints, collect weekly status
- Propose processes that will aid Integrated Scheduling and understand the impacts of any changes to program delivery
- Develop process, procedures, and strategy for implementing scheduling best practices
- Track the critical path in program activities, associated risks, and recommended mitigations in requested schedule reviews
Qualifications
- BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
- Experience using Microsoft Project to develop high level schedules and graphics utilizing MS Project to deliver to senior leaders and stakeholders
- Ability to identify, track, and integrate risks into the IMS
- Ability to facilitate client-facing meetings to review the IMS and discuss potential schedule slips and mitigation plans
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues to groups outside of your team or those who are unfamiliar with the topic.
- Possess an analytical mindset, with the ability to understand a situation or problem and think critically to make decisions and come up with out-of-the-box solutions.
- Be proactive in providing feedback and be enthusiastic in sharing your knowledge with others.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and potentially the tasks of others while making sure deadlines are met.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility

Target Salary Range
$66,000 – $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
