Overview
The Scheduling Manager will work Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Sales and the Conventipon Center Sales team. The Scheduling Manager- Sales is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the venue sales calendar.
This role will pay a salary of $50,000 to $80,000.

McCormick Place located in downtown Chicago is the largest and most flexible convention center in North America., With over 2.6 million square feet of exhibition space, the campus proudly hosts some of the world’s largest and most prestigious conventions, meetings, and trade shows, welcoming approximately 3 million visitors to Chicago every year.
Responsibilities
• Utilizing Momentus, create and maintain booking calendar for the sales department.
• Assign space and time commitments for Sales team.
• Work with the sales team to ensure efficient management of sales calendar.
• Maintain occupancy statistical information for Exhibit Halls
• Provide general sales support to the Director of Sales and Sales Managers.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years experience in sales or contract management experience
• Three to five years’ experience in a customer service/hospitality role
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform effectively under significant pressure typically associated with meeting the demands and timetables of the entertainment and hospitality industries.
• Ability to work event nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to focus on detail and manage a wide variety of tasks concurrently.
• Strong written and oral presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite. Previous use and proficiency with Momentus Event software preferred.
