General Summary
The School Psychologist provides a full range of psycho-educational services to children ages 3-21, including performing screening and assessment, designing remedial educational programs, and providing individual and group counseling, while interacting with school staff, parents, and outside agencies as appropriate.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- Valid Ohio pupil services license for school psychologists
- Pass background check
PREFERRED
- Three (3) years of experience in comprehensive psycho-educational services.

- Administer multi-factored evaluations- Offer a comprehensive range of psychological services with a balance across assessment, intervention, consultation, and counseling.
- Provides Consultation- Consult with other staff members and parents to plan learning and behavioral programs to meet the special needs of children. Plan and manage a program of psychological services, including counseling for children and parents. Design professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators regarding evaluation process, typical child development, and classroom management strategies.
- Intervention Services- Use a collaborative problem-solving process to assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of interventions and accommodations.
Contract Days/Work Schedule
This position will follow the annual school calendar. Employees filling this role work 212 days each year (42 weeks).
Compensation
This position is part of the 590-623 (E) pay band on the salary schedule. Entry level pay is $87,384. Base pay increases for longevity are built into the administrative salary schedule.
Administrator Salary Schedule
Administrators also have the ability to earn additional compensation for educational attainments that exceed the requirements of their position such as advancing their degree, license, or completing additional graduate credit hours beyond a master’s degree.
