Sponsor Funded Administrative – Research Coordinator I

Description:

The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking to hire an experienced Research Coordinator I. This position will be responsible for two grant-funded projects: The Resilience/Resistance to Alzheimer’s Disease in Centenarians and Offspring study, and the Healthy Student Brain Project. This role will manage the routine daily functioning of the projects.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Research Coordinator I are the following:

  • Oversee progress toward study milestones, payment tracking, maintenance of IRB protocols, and general study management.
  • Coordinate participant recruitment activities, including community engagement opportunities, networking with local healthcare providers, and flier distribution.
  • Schedule participants and manage retention activities (e.g., sending reminder emails and checking in on participants in between sessions).
  • Perform pre-screening, data collection, data entry, data analysis, and database management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in the assigned research area; or a combination of education and experience.
