ABOUT THIS JOB:
The IT QA Intern is responsible for creating and executing appropriate tests to ensure the quality of the platform. This role requires close collaboration with the Project Coordinator and Developers to develop tests for current and new features. In addition to maintaining a comprehensive suite of tests, the IT QA Intern also monitors the platform’s performance and presents performance figures in an easily understandable manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create new feature test cases
- Investigate and replicate bugs reported by users using various available tools and server logs
- Respond to inquiries from users and technical support regarding functions and operations of software programs
- Identify bugs, errors, and site performance issues through internal dashboards
- Evaluate product features and functionality according to specifications
- Identify process improvements, error trends and/or the root causes and make recommendations for remedies to colleagues and management.
COMPENSATION:
$15.10-16 /hour, depending on experience
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Experience with stress testing
- Demonstrated ability to identify, troubleshoot, diagnose and fully define problems
- Experience in developing test plans, assessing risk, writing defects, and providing relevant data for test reporting.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
- Must have great attention to detail, even with repetitive processes.
- Must be able to follow instructions, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to work under deadlines and quotas.
- Must be able to work in a sitting position working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day.
Salary Description
$15.10-16 /hour
