Job Description
Election Inspectors are responsible for managing the polling place and maintaining order on Election Day. Election Inspector duties include setting up the polling place, registering voters, recording election participation, issuing ballots, processing absentee ballots, monitoring and troubleshooting voting equipment, counting votes, completing required forms, and delivering Election Night returns. Work involves enforcement of State and Federal Election Laws.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Set up and maintain an orderly polling place.
- Accurately and efficiently register voters.
- Provide assistance to voters in need.
- Monitor election equipment.
- Troubleshoot.
- Accurately maintain poll books.
- Issue ballots.
- Answer voter questions.
- Enforce State and Federal election laws.
- Accurately complete Election Day forms.
- Close polls and participate in closing activities.
- Deliver election returns to City Hall.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Be a qualified elector (18 years of age, U.S. Citizen, No felony conviction or have completed serving the sentence terms).
