Qualifications

  • Illinois Professional Educator License with General Administrative Endorsement
  • Previous successful experience as a Middle or High School Principal
  • Demonstrated effective relationships with principals and District staff members through their work as principal and/or district leader
  • A proven commitment to improving student achievement and district systems to serve all students
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and present data to drive innovation and improvement
  • Cultural competency and ability to navigate and promote sensitivity with issues of race and equity
  • Effective strategic planning capabilities, including the ability to establish long-term vision and goals, and align/manage activities toward goal fulfillment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable

Compensation

  • The entry level base salary for this position is $100,092 plus highly competitive benefits, including 100% Board-paid TRS contributions and 100% Board-paid employee-only health, dental, and term life insurance. There is a minimal employee cost for vision insurance. Additional compensation above the base is offered to candidates based on their number of years of successful administrative experience.
