SEIT SDA O&I / GMI I&T Software Engineer

Contract Position
$85.05/Hour
This position is supporting the next generation in developing mission critical systems for our national defense. You would be a part of creating the most effective and state of the art technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies working with our military.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy the state-of-the-art ground operational system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field combined with 8 + years of relevant work experience; or Master’s Degree combined with 6 + years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
- Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the software development life cycle
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges
- Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to secure buy-in on concepts and ideas
- Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
- Preferred Skills:
- Satellite communications knowledge
- Ground to Satellite communication knowledge
- Ground operations experience
- Additional Skillsets Needed:
- AWS
- GitLab
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Jenkins
- Ansible
- Terraform
- CI/CD pipeline development
- Test automation
- Missile Warning/Missile Tracking system integration, test, operations experience
- Familiar with Agile philosophies and processes
