Summary
The Senior Analyst, Freight Forwarding Cost Accounting position is mainly responsible for the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable functions for MNA (Mobis North America) Toledo and Detroit plant locations.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Process for MNA Operations
- Manage Entire AR & AP of MNA Accounts and Analysis Data
- Process AP(Accounts Payable) & AR(Account Receivable) with GTMS and SAP both systems
- Cross checking with Glovis MNA Operations Team for Validity of Shipments and carrier invoices and POD documents
- Synchronize for Glovis AP & Carrier Aging and Glovis AR & MNA AP Aging
- Manage no longer than 30 days AP & AR aging
- Process weekly AP invoices and check requests to Glovis Accounting for review and payment
- Process weekly AR invoices and get MNA confirmation
- Verify payments to carriers and send out detailed remittance information to carriers weekly
- Following up AR payment receipt and Verify paid AR payments detailed remittance information
- Monthly Closing for Accounts Payable & Receivable of MNA Operations
- Check Validity of shipment for the month
- Cross checking for actual processed AR & AP in SAP & GTMS
- Make Accrual AR & AP list
- Make Monthly Closing Documents
- Implementation for New Vendor and New Employee
- Follow up Registration Documentations for New Vendor
- Create GTMS ID & PW and manage proper authorization for New Vendor and employee
- Provide education to vendors and new employees regarding GTMS
- Respond to any follow-up requests or additional training for GTMS
- Manage GTMS Mater Code
- Review vendor locations and verify locations are accurate in GTMS
- Update any change in vendor locations in GTMS as requested by Glovis operation managers
- Update any changes to routes in GTMS as requested by Glovis operation managers
- Manage tariff information in GTMS accordingly
- Review tariff and route information for MNA for Toledo & Detroit plants
- Verify all approved rates apply correctly to actual shipments
- Other Duties as Assigned.
- Prepare any necessary approval documents for accounting related issues per Glovis company policy
- Evaluating of Carrier Performance and making KPI report
Compensation Range
- $49,000 – $53,000 per year

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Three (3) Years of Experience in Accounting or Logistics Required
- Five (5) Years of Experience in 3PL Logistics or Finance Experience in Logistics Preferred
